Temporary Research Data Curation Technician (2)
UNC is hiring 2 temporary early-career data curators! This is a great opportunity for a recent graduate or LIS professional wanting to gain hands-on experience with research data and data services. We will consider hybrid and remote work. In the future, we would like to hire permanent data curators.
The UNC Research Data Management Core (RDMC) is hiring 2 temporary Research Data Curation Technicians to help our team with: 1) executing data curation workflows in accordance with archival standards and best practices; 2) performing quality checks on data repository records; 3) developing and maintaining documentation for data curation procedures; and 4) providing other support for RDMC data stewardship and repository operations.
This is a unique opportunity to engage in research data management and repository services within an academic environment, gaining hands-on experience in curating research data.
As a Research Data Curation Technician at RDMC, you will be part of a talented and nimble team with big ideas on how to sustain and enhance the value of research data.
Salary
$26/hour, 30 hours/week
