Data Project Assistant
The Inter-university Consortium for Political and Social Research (ICPSR), the world’s largest archive of social science data, is hiring a Project Assistant to assist with project management, user support, data acquisitions, and restricted data access across social science, education, and health data archiving projects.
Responsibilities Include
You will primarily assist with technical assistance and outreach, project support, and restricted data access support. This will include providing technical assistance to researchers depositing data, responding to data user support questions, and assisting with outreach efforts; assisting Project Managers with a variety of project management tasks; and processing applications for restricted-use data made available through secure download and a virtual data enclave.
To qualify for this position, it is important to have a Bachelor’s degree in social science, information science, or a related field and some experience working with social science-related data.
