Data Project Manager at the Institute for Social Research (ISR)
ISR Position within the lnter-University Consortium for Political and Social Research (ICPSR).
The Inter-university Consortium for Political and Social Research (ICPSR), the world’s largest archive of social science data, is now accepting applications for a Data Project Manager to oversee National Addiction & HIV Data Archive (NAHDAP) in close coordination with another Data Project Manager on the project.
We’re looking for candidates that have a Bachelor’s degree in social science, information science, health science or a related field, experience with health data (and preferably with drug abuse data), and 4 or more years of related experience.
Reseonsibilities Include
- Project Administration
- Data Acquisitions and Management of Confidential Data
- User Support and Outreach
For your portion of the project, you will have primary managerial responsibility for data acquisition, sharing, user support and outreach, and reporting. This will include reaching out to potential data depositors, supporting data producers as they deposit data with us, prioritizing data curation work and monitoring its progress, supporting users as they work with data, and creating and facilitating data trainings to maximize data’s value to researchers.
