Description
Typically a financial analyst is involved in activities that support the Board’s efforts in monetary policy and financial regulation by providing analytical support to economist and other professionals in the System, including preparation of report proposals, administration of databases and statistical or financial analysis.
Required: Excellent organizational and documentation skills; good communication skills, both written and oral; familiarity with economic principles and concepts. Highly desirable: Experience with FAME including complex tabling and charting routines.
Remarks: Candidate must demonstrate an interest in complex database maintenance; creation and management of documentation, and a broad knowledge of different sectors of the U.S. economy and data related to those sectors, especially nonfinancial data and measurement concepts. Education: Bachelor’s or Equivalent Exp.
