Data Drips: The First Cup
The world of data is constantly evolving, requiring those in its stead to follow or risk being left behind. The Data Services team at Carleton University is faced with changes while the appetite for their support remains unchanged. They’ve blueprinted a series of “Data Drips”, 30 minute “Lunch and Learn” style sessions open to all, where specific topics are covered in a short amount of time. Topics range from introducing what (and who) Data Services are, How to Find Data, Research Data Management and Sharing and Storing Data.
This lightning talk will discuss the inception of the project, development of the content and lessons learned from this pilot series.
